Fortnightly Update #1


Hello,

Last week, I launched the Android version of the game, which appears to be working perfectly—I haven’t received any reports of it being broken or unplayable. This is great news, as it means I can likely release both the Windows and Android versions simultaneously with the next major update. I’m currently working on a custom icon for the Android version to replace the default Cordova icon.

This week, I’ve been revisiting some of the town environments to enhance their visuals and give them a stronger sense of purpose. Updates include:

  • Two pubs where players can now purchase food instead of making it themselves.
  • The general store that offers battle items and crafting components.
  • Two blacksmiths, divided into a weaponsmith and an armorsmith.

In addition to these locations, I’m also designing new buildings and areas where the children of the Imp Witch (Pictured below) and Farmhand Dana will roam.

I had hoped to make more progress with drawing this week, but I’ve come down with some kind of summer cold and have been feeling awful and sluggish. As a result, I focused more on programming and pixel art instead.

On the technical side, most major bugs have now been resolved. The black screen issue that occurred during time transitions when entering a new area has been fixed, and all quest sequence bugs have been corrected.
